This won’t be a long post, but it’s important (to me, at least).
Today would have been my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary. Though I’m saddened not to be able to share their Golden day with them, I am so grateful for the 39 years they had together, and for the 28 years of loving example they provided me. I was blessed to have parents who took their commitment to one another and their vows before God so seriously. Hopefully, I can be that kind of example to my children.
Deb – And they parented 3 great kids! How often I think of your dad and how great he was with kids (his own and other’s). Your parents were always very special to me and a yearly summer vacation week with them in NJ meant exploring NYC and other activities a tween/teen would enjoy.
