As we approach the official 1-year anniversary of Debily, I wanted to commemorate the occasion by doing a few special posts. I have seen this meme on a few other blogs, so now I do it for mine. The first sentence of the first post for each month of the year that Debily has been in existence. Let’s see how far we’ve come!

*****DISCLAIMER NOTICE***** I actually did not write that line. Matt wrote the official first post to test out the theme and make sure things were up and running. So that doesn’t count since I didn’t write it. This was MY first line.
After a year of sharing a family blog with my dear husband, I’ve decided it’s time.
September 2007 – I didn’t have my blog up and running in time to document the first day of school for either of my children, so I’m doing an end-of-Trey’s-first week blog instead!
October 2007 – It takes doing something 3 times to make it a habit, right?
November 2007 – Would YOU buy popcorn from this kid?
December 2007 – This is going to be a very personal post.
January 2008 – I am not one for making New Year’s resolutions.
February 2008 – Matt has been waiting for me to post about this, so here I go.
March 2008 – I know he doesn’t read this blog, or if he does, it’s in secret.
April 2008 – One of Matt’s favorite candy bars is Butterfinger.
May 2008 – Here are the promised pictures from our week of Spring Break.
June 2008 – Our whirlwind trip to Chucktown, SC, is over and we are once again back in Texas, safe and sound.
July 2008 – Yesterday we made our annual pilgrimage to Sadler, TX, home of Bailey’s Berry Patch.
August 2008 – …of the South Beach Diet. (Technically, not a complete sentence, but it’s tied in with the title, which is “Today is the first day…”)
Okay, so that wasn’t nearly as interesting as I thought it would be.
