Sunday Evening QB (a.k.a. another “Can’t-wait-for-Monday-morning” QB): Super Bowl Edition

2007-8 New England Patriots the best 18-1 team in NFL History.
Its not that bad, really. The Pats aren’t even a Boston team, they play in Foxborough, that’s closer to Providence than Boston. SOoooo the Rhode Island Patriots lost, big deal.

Deb- It’s pretty dismal up here. Teachers who had attended Super Bowl parties last night said even the traffic heading home was slow and more like a funeral procession. No celebratory parade in Boston tomorrow but we will experience our first time as a state voting on “Super Tuesday”.
The euphoria felt after the Sox swept the Yankees in the ALCS and went on to win the series (sweeping the Cards) is only matched by the shock and disappointment felt after that last-minute touchdown.
We can only hope the Celtics will redeem Beantown.
